Most likely there's a "Controller Editor Template" file you need to download and instal on your system by using NI's Controller Editor Software, since with Controller Editor users can change the MIDI notes & CC's associated with controls. The available user mappers have some instructions you need to follow. Second: You can use the unit in MIDI mode with VirtualDj, but you will either have to use "Simple MIDI wrapper" (and therefore teach VirtualDj what each button should do by yourself - NO LEDS) or use one of the available user mappers. Also the unit does not appear on officially supported hardware as well. what is there left to do? First of all, S4 MK1 (first generation) is never going to be supported officially, and that's have been stated several times. I have tried it on 2 different computers and the traktor s4 as well as the traktor s2. and I have tried everything that the emails say and still nothing. I have been researching and researching and have not been able to find ANYTHING on this. I have been able to get it to where the sound will come through the traktor but, I have never been able to get the controls on the board to work anything with VDJ. I have downloaded 3 different versions of the mapping and nothing.

#TRAKTOR CONTROLLER EDITOR TEMPLATES PRO#
I bought the pro program on Friday and I have been trying and trying to get my traktor kontrol S4 mk1 to connect.
